The checked pages list a 30-minute walk at MKD 350 with Skopje Paws and MKD 400 with SCOOBER. SCOOBER also lists a 30-minute home visit for a cat or another small pet at MKD 600. First choose a walk, a visit or longer companionship, then request a total for your neighbourhood, dates and number of pets.
Checked 11 October 2026 on the official websites of two Skopje providers. These are examples, not a Macedonian market average or a guarantee of availability. Skopje Paws shows different amounts on different pages; this guide uses its Macedonian /uslugi/ page. Confirm the current quote before paying.
How much does dog walking cost in Skopje?
A price without a duration tells you too little. Compare 30 minutes with 30 minutes, then ask whether collecting and returning the dog use part of that time. The table records published amounts without assuming a discount, transport or care for a second pet.
The price lists do not state when these rates took effect. Our check date records when we saw them, not when the providers introduced them.

Do you need a walk, a home visit or a sitter?
Start with what needs to happen while you are away. A short outing around the neighbourhood and several hours of company are different purchases, even when an advert calls both “pet sitting”. Agree where the pet stays and how long the person will actually be present.
| Service | What you arrange | Key question |
|---|---|---|
| Dog walk | Taking the dog out and returning them | How many minutes outside, and solo or in a group? |
| Visit to your home | A short appointment for agreed tasks | Is there enough time for food, water, litter and attention? |
| Sitter in your home | Presence during specific agreed hours | Will they stay overnight, and how long may they leave? |
| Stay with a sitter or boarding provider | Care at another address | What period is charged, and what does it include? |
How do you calculate several bookings?
Use this baseline: number of bookings × price per booking, then add only confirmed extras. For example, five separate 30-minute walks for one dog, without a package or supplements, would be 5 × 350 = MKD 1,750 at the published Skopje Paws rate. Using SCOOBER’s rate gives 5 × 400 = MKD 2,000. That MKD 250 difference does not tell you which provider better suits your schedule and dog.
A separate example: seven short visits at MKD 600 would total MKD 4,200 with SCOOBER if each is charged at the published rate with no extras. This is arithmetic for seven agreed appointments, not a recommendation for how often a particular pet needs care.
For regular bookings, request a package quote specifying the number and length of appointments, expiry and rules for missed visits. Do not multiply an unclear “from” price as though it applies to every walk.
Sources: [1][2]Which details can change the quote?
Send the same description to each provider you compare. Changing the neighbourhood, number of dogs or appointment time can produce two very different offers. The points below are questions to confirm, not a claim that every provider charges extra for them.
- Time: do the minutes start at your door or when the walk begins?
- Pets: is the rate per dog, household or visit?
- Walk format: solo or group, with how many other dogs and which walker?
- Location: is your neighbourhood covered, and is separate transport needed?
- Schedule: a fixed time or arrival window, weekends, holidays and recurring appointments.
- Tasks: do feeding, refreshing water or cleaning fit within the time, or require another service?
What should you agree about keys and changing plans?
For a home visit, arrange a short introduction and show the entrance, equipment and agreed tasks. Establish who keeps the keys, whether someone else may use them and when they will be returned. Share access details privately with your chosen provider, not in a public post.
Ask for written cancellation, lateness, bad-weather and replacement-walker terms. If your return is delayed, who can add a visit, and at what rate? Agree a short confirmation after each appointment, how to contact you and a backup contact if you are unreachable. A booking should not be assumed to include continuous supervision.
What should a quote request say?
Adapt this message: “I need [walks/home visits] in [neighbourhood] for [number and type of pets], from [date] to [date]. I need [number] appointments of [minutes], around [time]. The tasks are [short list]. Please confirm availability, the price per appointment, any extras, the total and cancellation terms.”
Add habits relevant to delivering the service: pulling on the lead, reactions to other animals, difficulty with handovers to unfamiliar people or equipment you use. The purpose is to let the provider decide whether they can take the booking before you agree a price and date.
How do you take the next step?
Use Fluffinn’s walkers and sitters category to compare contacts and services, then ask providers to confirm your address and dates. Availability, the agreement and suitability for your pet are checked directly with the provider.
If you need care at another address, continue with the guide to choosing a pet hotel. This article helps you buy a defined service with a clear calculation; it does not rank providers or confirm their availability.
Your quick checklist
- Write down the neighbourhood, dates, times and number of pets.
- Choose walks, home visits or specific hours of companionship.
- Ask for exact minutes and included care tasks.
- Confirm the unit price, extras and final total.
- Agree keys, post-visit updates and cancellation terms.
Frequently asked questions
Are two dogs charged as one walk?
Do not assume so. Skopje Paws labels the listed walking rates per dog. SCOOBER’s checked price list does not clarify the multiple-dog rule. Ask for a total for both pets and confirm whether they will be walked together.
Sources: [1][2]Can a sitter visit my cat at home?
SCOOBER publishes a 30-minute short visit for cats and other small pets at MKD 600. Food, water and litter or cage cleaning are agreed around the care tasks. Confirm neighbourhood coverage, the number of visits and any charge for multiple pets.
Sources: [2]Does pet sitting mean someone stays all day?
Not necessarily. It can mean a home visit, daycare with a sitter or an overnight stay. Ask for the exact address, start and finish of attendance and permitted absences rather than relying on the service name alone.
Can the final quote differ from the published price?
Yes. A listed rate may not cover your dates, multiple pets, separate transport or additional tasks. We also found different amounts on different Skopje Paws pages. Request a final written quote with the charging units and supplements specified.
